Check Out These Paintball Grenade launchers.Kin to the paintball bazooka, paintball grenade launchers add an awesome punch to your power on the combat field. Besides this, they look incredible and make your paintball experience more enjoyable. Most often, these are used in military sim games but work well for woodsball. You don't see too many launchers out in speedball or in professional tournaments because the players using them would get creamed in such fast action combat. Choose these weapons when you're looking to make a statement to the other team and when team strategy is important!
There are a few main types of these. The first is attached to your paintball marker and goes under the barrel to add extra fire-power to your arsenal.

RAP4 makes the best and most practical grenade launchers available (of either type). Don't be fooled by the name of this product, however, these launchers work differently than you may expect. The RAP4 grenade launchers actually fire a group of paintballs or airsoft pellets all at once from a charged grenade shell called a 'Thunder Grenade' and do not fire a paintball laden tube. A charged system has a few advantages. One of the best is that the launcher can be used independent of a gun and CO2 tank. If you run out on the field, a few of these charged and loaded shells would be all you would need to survive. To find a weapon that will fire a traditional paintball grenade please look at this page. This alternate multi-ball shot still has the desired intimidation effect and does actually work well to cover your enemies in a massive amount of paint all at once. RAP4 boasts a full line of paintball grenade launchers for every marker. With the power source (CO2) inside the shell itself there is no extra line pulling from your tank and therefore no extra hookup necessary. This makes them very interchangeable. Most of these mods are made to fit on a standard 20mm rail which can be added in the right place on your gun by using a barrel shroud or kit. These shrouds and kits are common items purchased anyway because people like the look of a military style rifle. To use these launchers you need to buy a few things: a charger, thunder grenades, the correct paint (depending on what thunder grenade you get), and of course the launcher itself. Below is a list of links for the products we recommend. Or, you can click the banner below to see all of RAP4's awesome products. (WARNING: All links to outside sources open in new tabs/windows.) Or you could just buy a gun with a grenade launcher already attached. Do keep in mind, however, that a charger and grenades will still be needed.

The second type of paintball grenade launcher is even more awesome. This one works as a not only as a stand-alone firearm with its own source of gas, but also looks amazing being the paintball grenade marker instead of attached to a marker. The only down side to a gun like this is having to carry another firearm for combat being close to defenseless if your teammates go down. Here are some of my favorites: (Again... links to outside websites will open new tabs/windows.) Pictured here is the M79 from RAP4 being loaded. What an awesome gun!
And then there's the multi-shot... oh, what a gun...A multi-shot paintball grenade launcher normally fires like a giant revolver. Of course, playing with this gun it's tempting to fire as fast as possible to see your enemies flee in terror, but you have to hold back and make the shots count if you hope to help your team. :-) Check out the picture:
As far as I know, there are very limited to no plans available online for building any of these launchers. This is most likely due to the complexity of metal work and machining involved in making these. But, if I ever find anything you can bet it'll be on here when I do.Also, don't forget to check out how to make paintball grenades. Making your own can save a lot of money and gives you a much larger supply! Looking for other paintball grenade launchers? Check out paintball bazookas and cannons here.
